- Gateway & Telemetry Data: HTTP headers, response latency, token consumption counts, status codes, and anonymized security audit logs.
- Technical Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and login session identifiers.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To operate, maintain, and provide the Argate gateway and dashboard features.
- To detect and prevent fraudulent activities, prompt injection attacks, and security vulnerabilities.
- To calculate subscription tier quotas and API usage analytics.
- To communicate important product updates, security notices, and administrative emails.
4. AI Gateway Data Processing & Zero-Training Commitment
Argate operates as a secure proxy between your AI agents and upstream LLM providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Google).
Zero Model Training
We never use customer prompts, API payloads, or completions to train any AI or machine learning models.
PII Redaction
When configured, sensitive personal data (credit card numbers, social security identifiers, emails) is automatically detected and masked in real time via our integrated Presidio PII anonymization layer.
5. Third-Party Service Providers
We may share necessary data with trusted third parties strictly for operational purposes:
- Paddle.com: Merchant of Record and payment processing partner.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Secure cloud hosting and encrypted database providers.
6. Data Security and Retention
We employ industry-standard security protocols, including AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 (HTTPS) in transit, strict HSTS, and cryptographically signed session cookies. We retain audit logs only for as long as necessary to provide service analytics or satisfy regulatory compliance.
