Cookie Policy

Last Updated: September 21, 2026•argate.ai

This Cookie Policy explains how argate.ai ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies, what information we collect when you visit our website, why we collect it, and what choices you have.

Our approach is simple: we collect only basic, aggregated usage statistics to understand how our website is used and to improve it. We do not use advertising or marketing trackers, we do not build profiles of individual visitors, and we do not share your data with anyone.

1. What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device (computer, phone, tablet) when you visit it. They are widely used to make websites work, remember preferences, or measure usage. "Similar technologies" include local storage, session storage, pixels, and scripts that read information from your browser or device.

2. Do we use cookies?

Our analytics does not use cookies. We do not place analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or marketing cookies on your device, and we do not store any tracking identifier in your browser's local storage or session storage.

3. How we measure website usage (cookieless analytics)

To understand how many people visit our website and how it is used, we run a privacy-focused, first-party analytics tool. It is self-hosted on our own servers, which means the data is collected and stored by us and is never sent to a third-party analytics provider.

3.1 What information is collected

  • Pages visited: The URL/path of the page you viewed and the page title.
  • Referrer: The website or source that brought you to us if your browser provides it.
  • Browser and operating system: The type of browser and operating system you use.
  • Device information: The device category (desktop, laptop, mobile, tablet) and screen size.
  • Language: Your browser's language setting.
  • Approximate location: Country (and region/city if available) derived in-memory from your IP address.
  • Date and time of the visit.
  • Anonymous session identifier: A one-way hash generated from technical request details and a rotating secret key. It cannot be reversed to reveal your IP and does not follow you across sites.
  • Interaction events: Configured simple actions (such as button clicks) without user typed inputs.

3.2 What is NOT collected

  • Your full IP address is not stored.
  • We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or direct personal identifiers via analytics.
  • We do not collect form contents or anything you type on our website.
  • We do not track you across other websites or apps.
  • We do not use analytics data for advertising, retargeting, or profiling.

3.3 Why we collect this information

  • To understand visitor volume and identify most useful pages,
  • To analyze referral traffic sources,
  • To improve site performance, design, and content,
  • To ensure proper compatibility across browsers and device form factors,
  • To detect and troubleshoot technical issues.

3.4 Who we share it with

Nobody. Analytics data is stored on our own infrastructure, is accessible only to authorized members of our team, and is never sold, rented, or shared with any third party, advertiser, or data broker.

3.5 How long we keep it

Analytics data is retained for 12 months and is then deleted or fully aggregated so that it can no longer be linked to individual visits.

4. Legal basis

Because the data we collect is limited, aggregated, and not used to identify individuals, we process it based on our legitimate interest in operating, securing, and improving our website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and Article 5(2)(f) KVKK).

5. Your choices and rights

Because we do not use cookies for analytics, there is nothing to accept or reject through a cookie banner. You can still control your privacy via content blockers or browser settings. Your GDPR and KVKK rights remain fully preserved.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect operational or legal changes. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
